I would even go so far as to say that my carpets appear to have been professionally cleaned after using this machine. Machine is easy to assemble, and everything comes apart for very easy cleaning so the cleaner can be stored away perfectly clean until the next use. well worth every penny, highly recommend!`

Bought this as part of Amazon's deal of the day promotion. We have the spotbot by Bissell and it is a lifesaver so I jumped on this despite having the intention of buying it. So glad I purchased as I know realize how disgustingly dirty my rugs were! I have rugs used mostly by the dogs and one year old carpeting. I tried this in both areas and even in the newer carpet it showed clean results. Much cheaper option than paying a carpet cleaning company! As others reported, it is not super wet afterwards and dries pretty quickly. They send a few small bottles of solution to get you started. I did vacuum prior to use and I was surprised at the amount of additional dog fur this sucker picked up. I haven't tried the attachments yet, but can say the deep cleaner did a great job on my area rugs and carpet. Excited to finish cleaning the rest of my floors. I've rented carpet cleaners so many times, it just seemed logical to buy my own rug vac. I didn't expect much from this guy, but wow! It cleans a hundred times better than any rental unit. I cleaned my rugs two months ago and they are still cleaner than they have been since they were new.

Not to mention that Bissell gives a fair donation to dog charities when you buy this rug vac. I was unaware of this "deal breaker" when I bought my cleaner, but it definitely would have swayed my purchase choice if I had known.

So this is about my 5th ever carpet shampooer and it is by far the best one I've ever owned. I used it for the first time last night and it is so easy to assemble and use. The ergonomics are great. It's easy to track a nice, straight line. I love that it is easy to disassemble and clean. The suction is above average but don't expect AMAZING. My medium shag carpet took around 8 hours to completely dry (with the ceiling fan on). However I did realize about 1/2 way through to go forward while triggering the spray, go back without the spray to suck up the water, forward again without the spray to suck up more water (you'll notice the suction is better going forward because you'll see even more water being extracted), and back again without triggering the spray. Then you're done with that pass. Make sure to go slowly. This one puts my last H_ _ v_r to shame! I have never had more confidence in a carpet shampooer. I just wish I could have afforded and extra $100 when the Big Green Deep Cleaning Professional Grade Carpet Cleaner Machine was on sale for $269. But you know what happens when you snooze. Here's a plus, the cleaning solution this machine comes with smells great unlike others that smell "sort-of clean."

This machine is wonderful!! I've had Bissell machines before and have always been happy with them, then I got this one. I have 2 cats, a dog and a puppy. Puppy says it all in regards to the mess they can occasionally leave behind. This machine cleans like a beast and super easy to use. Attachments are also equally easy. When I was finished I was super happy about the ease in which I could empty the nasty water and the bladder that holds the clean water was easy to remove as well. The head comes off the machine as well with 2 clicks, no screws or anything!!! Now why did I only give 4 stars & not 5? There is now rinse reservoir so you have to empty the bladder and fill with water only. Honestly though I can deal with that seeing as how easy everything else is.

I've seen my fair share of carpet cleaners. This is my absolute FAVORITE. Powerful suction, user friendly. The designers used their brains on the clean up process. It is very easy to disassemble and clean which makes it a better product in my mind. Better maintenance=longer life. This is the second one I purchased. The only reason I bought another one was that I lent out the first one. They used it to suck up concrete and pet hair (no joke) and failed to clean it out after use. Remarkably when I got it back it still worked but lost quite a bit of suction. I say that's pretty impressive. Biased has converted me from Hoover. I've owned both Hoover's and bosses shampooers, this is the best. Carpets look and feel great afterward and they dry pretty quick with the powerful suction.

The suction is great. I vacuumed twice before using it, with my Dy—n that I love. The suction on this device showed me that my regular vacuum leaves behind a lot of dog hair. Another reviewer complained because clumps of hair were left behind..I did have that problem in some heavily used dog areas but I just emptied the waste more frequently. I am hoping now that I have sucked up the deep down hair that if I use this more freeuently that wont be an issue. The only real issue I had was with the attachment as another reviewer stated-it constantly falls off the holdet so I too used a bungie cord to hold it in place -that is why I gave it 4 stars.

It's too heavy. I bought this Jan. 2017 and I am going to donate it. Having the clean water with the dirty water in the same container makes it so heavy to empty out the dirty water. Can't tell how much clean water is left. The control for the dispensing of the clean water/solution has to be pressed extremely hard to get it to dispense. I'm just not happy with it. My old Bissell was much easier to use. I am going to order a Hoover. I never do negative reviews, but thought it was justified on this product. Poorly designed, in my opinion.
